Lessons
Lesson packages at Lazy J are offered year-round. Each package includes 3 lessons per month with one week reserved for make-ups due to barn closure. Missed lessons will not be refunded and will not be rescheduled.

Lessons
Taught by Head Instructor, Casady Gammon. Lessons are sold in packages of 3 lessons.
Half Hour Private
Riders are required to have their own horse for half hour lessons.
One Hour Semiprivate
Designated for a pair of riders with similar ability levels and goals. Horse Ownership not required.
One Hour Private
One on One instruction designated for riders who need individualized instruction in their development with their hor.se. Horse Ownership Not Required.
One Hour Group
Riders in group lessons must have similar abilities and goals. Horse Ownership Not required.
Horsemanship Lessons
Taught by Head Instructor, Casady Gammon. Lessons are sold individually. Great addition to students in monthly lessons to schedule during the off week!
Trailer Loading
- Designated to help owners and riders with issues around safely loading and unloading their horses.
- Troubled horses may require groundwork lesson prior to Trailer Loading
Groundwork
Covers leading, mounting and dismounting, handling feet, head control, standing tied, yielding to pressure, desensitizing, etc. One Hour Session
Beginner Lessons
Taught by Junior Instructors actively competing on our Eventing or Stock Horse Teams.
Half Hour Private
One on One instruction both on the ground and in the saddle. Lessons are sold in packages of 3/Month. Lessons are nonrefundable.
One Hour Privaete
One on one instruction both on the ground and in the saddle. One-hour lessons are sold in packages of 3 lessons per month.
One Hour Horse Experience
This experience is for prospective students who wish to try horseback riding before they commit to a package.
